By BBN Staff: A Caye Caulker man is hospitalized after he was stabbed sometime last night.

He has since been identified as William Thomas, 21.

Police investigations revealed that he was socializing in front of a bar on Luciano Reyes Street when an altercation ensued between him and another man.

That man took out a knife and stabbed him once to the back before escaping.

Fortunately, the alleged perpetrator was nabbed by police while the victim was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Police investigations continue.
