Tropical wave bringing rain

ByBBN Staff: The latest weather forecast prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize calls for moist and relatively unstable conditions due to a tropical wave.

The 24-hour forecast says that the day will be cloudy at times with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly over southern and central areas today, and increasing to all areas tonight. Today’s temperature highs will reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will reach 80 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East between 5-15 Knots, and the sea state is light chop.
