Two Belmopan men charged for reported rape

By Aaron Humes: Twenty-one-year old Denzel Usher and 23-year-old Devin “DJ Perf” Peyrefitte of Belmopan were this morning arraigned in the Belmopan Magistrate’s Court on a charge of rape.

Police are yet to release an official statement, but sources familiar with their investigation say that Usher and Peyrefitte were socializing along with the complainant, who alleges she was raped by both men during the night.

The men deny the charge. We are further told that a medical examination was “inconclusive” as to any sexual activity.

Both are remanded to the Central Prison until a court date in October.
