Police: Inmar Welch killed while doing an errand

By BBN Staff: Last night we reported that a man was murdered in Gales Point Village.

He has been identified as Inmar Welch, 28.

According to a police report, sometime around 6 o’clock he had left home on a bicycle to run an errand.

That was when he came under gunfire.

He sustained gunshot injuries to the head and face and died on the roadside.

He was later identified by his wife.

Police later recovered 2 GFL 9mm, 1 Aguila 9mm live rounds  and 5 GFL Lugar 9mm and  1 S&B 9mm expended shells from the crime scene.

The body of Welch was taken to the morgue at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where it awaits a post mortem examination.
