Belizean student Angie Matute to receive regional CSEC award in Grenada

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Education, yesterday issued a release extending congratulations to all students that excelled in the 2019 CXC Examinations.

Among the most outstanding students is Angie Matute of Edward P. Yorke high school who will receive the subject group award in Technical Vocational.

Matute will receive that award at a ceremony to be held on Friday, November 29 at 9:00 a.m. at the Omar Longsworth Auditorium in Independence village, Stann Creek.

Matute has also been invited to Grenada to receive an award for Most Outstanding Performance in Technical Vocational in the region.

The Ministry of Education says that the outstanding performance of the students is attributed to the dedication to their studies.

The CSEC examinations afford the students a certification that has regional and international currency.
