Two students from Sacred Heart College (SHC) were honored with awards for community involvement and science and technology.

Kenly Young was honored with the 1st place award for community involvement.

Alias Frutos was honored with the 2nd place award for science and technology.

Both students attended the ceremony with their parents.

Kenly graduated from St. Andrews Primary School as valedictorian and was awarded first place in PSE in 2016.

St. Andrews offers an award every year in her name titled: ‘The Kenly Young Student of the Year Award.’

Kenly serves the role of prefect and the president of SHC Student Council Government.

Kenly is the founder of the #justbenice campaign on Instagram to help mitigate bullying among youths. This campaign went viral in its first posting. Kenly has a long resume consisting of accomplishments in arts, culture, leadership, community service, guest speaking, and charity.
