US fugitive busted in San Ignacio

By BBN Staff: This past weekend, Belize’s Special Branch in collaboration with US authorities captured an American fugitive in San Ignacio.

Aaron Deon Seymour, 37, was wanted for multiple counts of robbery in Los Angeles.

Seymour was reportedly at a home on Stanton street in San Ignacio in the company of a Belizean woman.

In 2006, Seymour was also convicted of voluntary manslaughter for murdering a pastor.

The Fugitive Recovery Warrant Division informed that Seymour was returned to the United States yesterday.

“Our investigators assisted by the U.S. Marshals and Belize law enforcement took Defendant Seymour into custody in San Ignacio, Belize,” the statement said.

Seymour is looking at life in prison for 10 counts of armed robbery.
