Family confirms body found is missing San Pedro teen

By BBN Staff:  This morning, authorities were called to the Belize Port Authority pier at Ceasar ridge road in Belize City.

Authorities say that about 50 feet off the pier in the sea, officers saw the decomposed body of a man wrapped in a blanket.

With the assistance of the Belize Coast Guard, officers retrieved the body.

The victim had a rose tattoo on the left hand and beneath the tattoo was the name Miley.

The body was transported to the lab. A post mortem is scheduled to be conducted.

The family of missing San Pedro teen, Micheal Cobo, have since confirmed their worst fears.

Cobo was reported missing by his family on December 1.

The family said that Cobo was last heard from on Friday, November 29.

Police investigations continue.
