By BBN Staff: A brazen bandit got away with little more than $400 from a James bus on Wednesday, December 4, during a daring hold up of the passenger bus.
The conductor of the James bus told police that around 9:00 p.m. they were dropping off passengers on George Price Street in Punta Gorda when a man forced his way on the bus.
The man pointed a gun at the conductor and demanded money.
The conductor handed over a purse with $400.
The assailant then ran out of the bus and escaped.
Police are investigating.
