Body of missing teenager, Damion Bregal found in Teakettle

By BBN Staff:  The body of missing Belmopan teenager, 17 year old Damion Bregal was found late yesterday evening on the Young Gyal road in Teakettle Village. Belmopan police were able to identify the body based on personal belongings that were found on him.

Bregal’s body was found a few miles down the Young Gyal road, past Dream Valley Resort, on the path leading down to the Belize River.

The body will be retrieved today and a forensic pathologist is expected to do an onsite post-mortem due to the state of the body’s decomposition.

Bregal was last seen on Friday, December 13, 2019 when he left his home around 7:00 pm and headed to an unknown location.

Brigal did not return home and his family filed a report with the police, who then issued a missing person alert.

When Brigal went missing he was wearing a white T-Shirt, ¾ black Dickies pants and white socks.
