Underage girl raped by cab driver

By BBN Staff: A female minor was raped by a taxi man over the weekend.

The minor told police that she caught the taxi at Pound Yard in Belize City on Saturday.

However, instead of taking her to her destination the driver took her to Haulover Bridge.

Thereafter he took her to an area near the Belize Civic Center where he allegedly beat and raped her.

Officers are currently seeking to locate the driver who they suspect may not be a first time offender.
