Cool-weather continues

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that cloudy, windy, and cool conditions will continue today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy to overcast skies with light rain continuing mostly over the sea and some coastal areas today and then over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 78 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 65 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing North-Northeast 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for occasionally gusty winds and rough seas.

There will be a high tide at 7:23 a.m. and a low tide at 12:28 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:32 p.m. and the moon will rise at 2:10 a.m..
