Coast Guard receives donation of instruments from Music Ambassador Shyne Barrow

By BBN Staff: H.E. Shyne Barrow continues into 2020 with distribution of instruments to various entities.

Lt. Lewis and the Coast Guard Cadets were happy to receive snare drums, bass drums & cymbals from Ambassador Barrow for their Youth Cadet Music Program.

Barrow received a call from the Governor General, Sir Colville Young, a month or so ago requesting the donation be made to the Coast Guard Cadets, which he immediately committed to.

Shyne told us the Coast Guard Youth Cadet is an extremely necessary program to keep youth, especially in the south side, engaged in “constructive activities that build character, discipline and ethics.”

Barrow says he will continue to support the Coast Guard Youth Cadet how ever he can as Ambassador of Music or in the House of Representatives.
