By BBN Staff: Sometime around midnight last night a man was shot in Western Belize.
He has since been identified as Roy Supal.
Information to our newsroom is that he was near the La Loma Luz Boulevard in Santa Elena, Cayo when he heard gunshots.
That was when he realized he had been shot in the leg.
He has since been transported to the San Ignacio Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
