Ashcroft’s contribution, through Belize Bank goes to Ministry of Health

By Aaron Humes:  Lord Michael Ashcroft’s $10 million contribution for COVID-19 goes principally to the Ministry of Health.

According to Prime Minister Dean Barrow it will be used to fund supplies for healthcare professionals.

The money will be handled by a committee appointed by Ashcroft and the money will not be added to the Consolidated Revenue Fund.

Nonetheless, the Prime Minister said he was grateful to his former client turned rival.
