Posted: Friday, April 10, 2020. 3:10 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: The tenth confirmed case of COVID-19 was admitted at a private facility with community pneumonia on March 27, then on March 30 went to a private facility after a brief time out of the hospital.

After initially improving, he was intubated and it was found that he had had a stroke while in an induced coma in addition to being diabetic and hypertensive.

By April 7, he was in Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and his condition significantly deteriorated.

He had twice tested negative for COVID-19 but continued to be treated as a suspect.

The health staff who had interaction with patient 10 will be tested.

The first two patients from San Pedro Town returned positive tests for COVID-19 and will have to be tested again.

In better news, the patients who are hospitalized have been progressively improving and the others remain asymptomatic.
