Chester Williams sends warning to persons using water taxi

By BBN Staff: Today Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, commented on persons leaving San Pedro.

He explained, “The situation in San Pedro with persons trying to leave on the water ferry is very unhealthy.”

“The operators of these water ferries are hereby being reminded that they must put protocols in place to ensure their customers maintain social distance, ” he added.

According to him, customers must adhere to the measures of social distancing and wearing of masks.

If not, this would be a clear violation of the law for which persons can be arrested and the water taxi providers can be stopped from operating.
