Posted: Thursday, May 21, 2020. 3:32 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, Minister of National Emergency Management, Edmond Castro visited the Cleopatra White Polyclinic in Belize City where he provided meals for doctors, nurses and support staff at that public health institution.

Castro participated in the preparation, delivery and distribution of the meals, a key ingredient in which is ‘Papa Jeff Smoked Beef’ produced at Castro’s own farm and processing facility.

Castro has been providing such meals for frontline workers at several locations, institutions and departments as a show of gratitude and appreciation for their valuable service to the country particularly as part of the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Castro says he is happy to offer this small token of appreciation for the tremendous service and sacrifice by these essential workers to the entire country in the midst of the global crisis.

The doctors, nurses and support staff at Cleopatra White Polyclinic expressed much appreciation.
