Former Prime Minister Said Musa recovering

By Aaron Humes: Former Prime Minister Said Musa is recovering well from a stroke he suffered a few weeks ago according to his son, party chairman Henry Charles Usher.

Speaking at the party’s virtual press conference today, Usher said Musa is active and alert and responding to treatment, and continues to seek the well-being of his constituents in Fort George Electoral Division, which he has represented since 1979.

Musa was planning to run for another term and party leader John Briceno says they will leave the decision on that up to him. He is the sole current representative in place for Fort George since before Independence.
