Flood forecast for weekend

By BBN Staff: The National Hydrological Service of Belize informed today that flooding is occurring on the Rio Hondo.

The flood forecast for the weekend issued today informed that the Rio Hondo remains under Flood Warning; a gradual recession in river levels is expected at Blue Creek, Santa Cruz, San Antonio, San Roman, and Douglas.

Above normal and falling levels are expected on the New River at Tower Hill and Caledonia.

Normal and steady levels is expected on the Mopan and Macal rivers.

On the Lower Belize River, levels will become steady on the Crooked Tree Lagoon. At Double Run normal and steady levels are expected.

Above normal and falling levels on the Sibun River will become steady.

On the Rio Grande and Moho rivers normal and steady levels are expected

On the Temash river normal and steady levels are expected
