Showery weather expected as tropical wave approaches

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is reporting an increase in showery activity during the next 24 hours as a tropical wave approaches.

The 24-hour forecast is for sunny skies with cloudy spells and some isolated showers.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

The extended forecast is for few showers and thunderstorms.
