Belize monitors 18 active cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Belize is currently monitoring 18 active cases of COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health processed a further 67 samples yesterday.

A new case was detected bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 43.

The patient is a female who entered through the repatriation process via the Northern Border station.

The patient is under quarantine in the Orange Walk district.

She is asymptomatic and is not requiring treatment at the moment.

The Ministry also informed of 1 recovered patient, a female who will now leave the quarantine facility.

All 18 active cases remain under quarantine.
