Belize monitoring 120 active cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Health officials in Belize are monitoring 120 active cases of COVID-19.

On Sunday, the Ministry of Health confirmed 1 new case of COVID-19 in Belize City bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 154.

The Ministry of Health says that today, the total set of samples to be processed is 300.

The Ministry continues to monitor 3 active clusters in San Pedro.

The Ministry is appealing to the community to continue to remain alert and stop the stigmatization that seems to be growing against the persons from communities that have an identified positive case.

“We have to assume that any person we meet is a potential positive case,” the ministry noted.
