27 new cases of COVID-19 identified today, 4 more deaths reported

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health reports that 27 new cases of COVID-19 were identified today. In addition, there are 4 more deaths in the country associated with COVID-19. 

The 27 confirmed cases were detected after processing 181 samples.

The preliminary breakdown of the 27 cases is as follows;

– Corozal – 2 (Altamira & Paraiso)

– Belize – 4 (3 in Belize City & 1 in San Pedro)

– Cayo – 5 (Belmopan 3 & Armenia 2)

– Orange Walk – 16 (OW town, August Pine Ridge, San Felipe, Yo Creek, San Lazaro, San Jose Palmar, San Estevan)

According to the Ministry of Health they will reporting on the 4 deaths throughout the afternoon on social media platform.

One of the active COVID-19 cases also recovered today.
