Belmopan City Council: All employees test negative for COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Last week, the Belmopan City Council informed that as a preventative measure, it had sent home some of its employees to self isolate and to protect staff and residents of Belmopan City.

The Belmopan City Council announced today that all employees that were tested have received their results and they tested negative for COVID-19.

“As we continue to protect our employees and residents, the said employees that were tested remain on quarantine as they may have been exposed to a positive patient not job related. As a responsible entity, The Belmopan City Council continues to ensure that all safety measures and guidelines mandated by the Ministry of health are adhered to as we continue to provide the essential services to our City,” the council stated.

The council encourages everyone to wear their masks properly and practice social distancing.
