BREAKING: Another person dies from COVID-19; two remain intubated at the KHMH

By BBN Staff: There is another COVID-19 death that occurred in Belize earlier today. According to the Ministry of Health, a male in his 80s died in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) in Belize City.

With today’s death, the number of COVID-19 related deaths is now 27, and represents 1.36% of the total positive cases detected in Belize.

The Ministry also informs that two (2) patients remain intubated at the KHMH.
