49 new cases of COVID-19 and 21 recoveries reported today

Ву ВВN Ѕtаff: Forty nine new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Belize today after 184 tests were done.

The distribution of the 49 cases is as follows:

Cayo – 1 (Unitedville)
Stann Creek – 3 (1 Dangriga, 1 from Bella Vista & 1 Seine Bight)
Corozal – 5 (1 each in San Joaquin, Xaibe & Concepcion, 2 in Corozal Town)
Belize – 12 (7 in San Pedro, 3 in Belize City, 1 each in Ladyville & Caye Caulker)
Toledo – 12 (9 Big Falls, 2 Punta Gorda, 1 Forest Home)
Orange Walk – 16 (9 in town, 5 Trinidad, 1 Trial Farm, 1 San Jose Palmar)

There were 21 recovered cases today, bringing the total recoveries to 1,246. A total of 719 cases or 36.1% of total positive cases remain active.
