By BBN Staff: According to the Ministry of Health, over 1,300 people have recovered from COVID-19 since the first set of confirmed infections back in March.
The Ministry’s data shows that a total of 1,346 people (623 females and 723 males) have managed to recover from the virus.
Belize has a total of 2,131 confirmed cases, 756 of which are still active. The active cases are split between 344 females and 412 males.
The Ministry also has another 49 cases currently under investigation.
To date, the MOH has conducted some 15,729 tests.
