Belize Met Service: More rains forecasted over coastal areas

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is reporting that moist and unstable weather is expected today.

The 24-hour forecast is for cloudy skies with a few showers and thunderstorms occurring over coastal and offshore areas this morning.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 79 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

 The extended forecast for Sunday is for cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms.
