Ministry of Health: Over 1000 active cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health’s (MOH)’s latest COVID-19 data says that there are over 1,000 active cases in Belize.

The MOH, through the Office of the Director of Health Services, issued its latest infographic tonight, showing a total of 1,099 active cases. Of those active cases, there are 604 males and 495 females.

The Ministry also has another 351 cases under investigation.

Belize has now confirmed a total of 2,813 cases of COVID-19, with 1,670 people recovering from the virus and 44 people dying as a result.

The MOH has conducted a total of 19,197 tests.
