DJ Chris bringing his method to music for today’s Linkup

The pandemic and many of the issues surrounding it is weighing heavily on the minds of Belizeans, particularly with the restrictions on the ability to gather. Today’s Sunday Vibes DJ Linkup comes at a time where, more than ever, Belizeans need to get together and help each other through this pandemic, while keeping with the established protocols for the prevention of COVID-19.

DJ Chris, a rising star in the business is set to play today and promises to bring his method to mood-setting for the viewers and listeners.

He has been in the business for four years and hails from Benque Viejo, the proud home of the late doctors Kenneth and Kevin Guerra. He originally started out assisting with Eclipse Sounds and was drawn to being a DJ by the feeling he would get when he saw a crowd enjoying themselves. Later he would be motivated by DJ Orsy from Cayo, to venture out and become a DJ himself.

DJ Chris has since played at private events such as weddings, some restaurants, and on Friday nights at Pickadili Nightclub in Benque Viejo.

For today’s linkup, he plans on complementing the selections played by the other DJ’s by bringing the best in Latin music.

“We’ll start off with some nice cool music in the beginning, so people can relax, take their drinks, and then we’re gonna go into some selections that will get the crowd hype,” DJ Chris said.

The Linkup goes live on Breaking Belize News’ Facebook page at 4:00 p.m.
