Francis Fonseca: Schools stick to distance learning

By Aaron Humes: School will reopen on Monday – but not in person, said Education Minister Francis Fonseca.

That will be a decision taken among stakeholders at the appropriate time.

For now, teachers are being asked to go in twice a week to conduct their duties including online classes with students.

Eventually, said Fonseca, his wish for 2021 was to hear the sound of children’s laughter on school playgrounds and teacher chatter as well.
