Belize Met Service: Cold front continues with rain forecasted for Monday

The Belize National Meteorological Service (Belize Met Service) says mild and cool conditions prevail with an increase in moisture expected tomorrow.

Over the next 24 hours, skies will be variably cloudy with little or no rainfall today and isolated showers developing along the coast tonight, increasing late.

Winds are from the north to northeast at 10 to 20 knots and the sea state is moderate.

High temperatures today are 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 79 in inland areas, and 70 in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 68 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 62 in the interior, and 55 in the hills.

Tides will be high at 8:36 am this morning, then low at 1:11 p.m. this afternoon and high again at 7:31 p.m. this evening. The Sun rose at 6:25 a.m. and will set at 5:35 p.m. this evening.

A few showers, periods of rain, and possible isolated thunderstorms will affect most places, especially the north on Monday; then mainly the coast and southern districts Monday night.
