Ministry of Health and Wellness: One new COVID-19 death

By BBN Staff: Over the past two days, another Belizean has died from COVID-19 according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The Ministry’s latest national COVID-19 update, which represents data for both Sunday, February 7, and Monday, February 8, shows that the latest death brings the national total up to 307.

The country’s fatality rate remains at 2.54.

The latest death represents the sixth COVID-19 death for the month of February, and the 69th death connected to the virus since the start of 2021.
