By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) announced this morning that the planned power outage for today, Sunday, February 21, 2021, has been postponed.

BEL noted that the outage, which was scheduled to affect the Cayo and Belize Districts, was postponed until further notice, due to the current weather conditions.

BEL apologized to its customers for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling.

The company will issue the update of the new scheduled date for the outages shortly.
