Another crash landing reported, two Mexicans detained

By BBN Staff: Police report yet one more airplane crash landing in northern Belize in Blue Creek, Orange Walk. This time it was at the Blue Creek airstrip on Friday.

According to the police, cops detained two Mexicans, Humberto Miranda Gonzalez and Ramon Lopez Perez.

Police reported they found Mexican currency, navigation equipment, a container of aviation fuel in the small airplane. Six other containers with fuel were reportedly found nearby.

Lopez Perez was found to be in possession of 0.6 grams of cocaine.
