Belize Weather: Fair weather to prevail heading into weekend

By Aaron Humes: Mainly fair weather will prevail says the National Meteorological Service. Skies will be sunny with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers will be isolated.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast and 94 degrees inland; it will be 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures will reach 80 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots; the sea state is choppy.

High tide is at 9:56 a.m. and ten minutes to midnight tonight, and low at 5:30 p.m. this evening. The sun sets at 6:22 p.m. this evening and rises at 5:17 a.m. Friday.

Mainly fair weather and isolated showers are expected through the end of Friday.
