Fourteen new cases of COVID-19 reported

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize has recorded 14 new cases of COVID-19 according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry’s latest daily update shows that the newly confirmed cases were detected among a sample batch of 735 tests.

The new cases were split between four females and 10 males.

The daily positivity rate stood at 1.90, while the country’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 12,938.

There were no new deaths associated with the virus.
