By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB)said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SocaLoca.
SocaLoca is a football platform which “promotes participation levels and the organisation and digitisation of football at grassroots and professional levels.”
The Soca Loca Platform says that its free app can be used by players, fans, coaches and team managers, tournament organizers, academies and clubs, and scouts.
The FFB said the SocaLoca Football Platform consists of a mobile app and web-based ecosystem which aims to serve all football stakeholders.
“Available for download globally by any social, amateur or even professional footballer, the app provides individuals the ability to create a footballing profile,” said the FFB.
“With the profile, players can showcase their skills, statistics, pictures, videos and progression as a footballer. Players can also engage with football activity within their area by joining local teams or academies and play in local tournaments.”
According to the SocaLoca website, their platform is used in 11 countries by 5,000 footballers, 900 teams and 40 tournaments.
The FFB said that it will officially launch the SocaLoca App on Tuesday.
