Karl Heusner Memorial hospital to resume specialist clinics and other services

By Aaron Humes: The Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital Authority (KHMHA) has apparently backed off its emergency declaration issued exactly a week ago.

It has announced that it will “return to full functioning as of Monday, July 26th, 2021 with the reopening of Specialist Clinics and Outpatient Services.”

The hospital had anticipated a spike in COVID-19 cases but this appears to now not be the case.

It adds, “We will continue to maintain our current visitor’s policy of one visitor per patient within visiting hours of 12 noon to 1 pm. This is being done so as to minimize traffic inside the KHMH. We kindly ask that the public continue to adhere to all COVID protocols while interacting with the facility.”
