Water interruption in Belize City plus rural areas extended to 8pm said BWS

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize City has been experiencing low pressure due to a broken water main all day Saturday, August 21, 2021. BWS now says the water interruption is being extended to 8pm.

BWS said the entire Belize City is being affected, including all areas along the George Price Highway up to Hattieville and all areas along the Phillip Goldson Highway up to Gardenia.

BWS still has and advisory for motorists to drive with extreme caution while travelling between mile 10 and 11 on the George Price Highway since the company is using heavy equipment. Plus, traffic has been reduced to one lane.
