Shooting reported in San Ignacio

By Aaron Humes: Two men are wanted in connection with a shooting incident in San Ignacio Town, Cayo District on Thursday night.

Roy Smith, proprietor of Smith’s Farm on Branch Mouth Road, told Police that he was inside his yard talking to his son Keelan when he heard three gunshots. Upon hearing this, he jumped on his bicycle and rode towards the area where the shot came from and saw a short dark skin man wearing a camouflage jacket whom he recognized.

This man and another who wore dreadlocks and a red shirt on a motorcycle fled upon his seeing them. No one was hurt.

Police are investigating.
