By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says our weather will be moist and unstable due to a passing disturbance in the area.
Therefore, expect cloudy to overcast skies with showers and thunderstorms across the center and north this morning, in the south this afternoon, and increasing along the coast tonight. There is a possibility of flooding in flood-prone and low-lying areas.
High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 inland, and 78 in the hills. Tonight, it will be 78 degrees along the coast, 72 inland, and 65 in the hills.
Winds are from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots and gusty; sea conditions are choppy to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for occasional gusty winds and rough seas near heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Tides will be low at 2:39 this afternoon then high at 8:38 this evening. Sunset is at 6:04 and sunrise Saturday morning is at 5:39.
Expect near-continuous showers, thunderstorms, and periods of rain for most of Saturday, decreasing slightly at first in the morning in the center and north before increasing over most areas.
