BEL to restore power supply in Orange Walk District by 9.30am today

By BBN Staff: This morning, Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) announced that the power supply for San Antonio Santa Cruz, San Lorenzo, San Roman, San Jose, San Juan, Douglas Road Douglas, Buena Vista, and Caledonia – all communities in the Orange Walk District will be restored by 9.30 am today.

BEL says that they are repairing damages to an insulator that was affected by lightning in the area.

The company apologizes to all customers for the inconvenience caused by the power outage.
