By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize City ½ Marathon that was planned for Saturday has been postponed.

The Belize City Council has been partnering with the National Sports Council (NSC) in sponsoring races that are organized by Kaya Cattouse who is a Belize City Councilor and an NSC coordinator, but the present COVID-19 situation and the strict control regulations have caused the event to be postponed.

Apart from the ½ marathon, the race was also going to feature 10K and 5K category races as well.

A cash prize of $1,000 was being offered to the winner.
