54 people now hospitalized with COVID-19, majority unvaccinated

By Aaron Humes: A total of 54 persons remain hospitalized with COVID-19 according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

A majority of these, 38, are not vaccinated, while nine have their first dose and seven are fully vaccinated.

13 persons are in intensive care, all but four unvaccinated.

Both deaths reported today were of unvaccinated people.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues to encourage persons to get vaccinated both for their health and to enjoy safe movement.
