By Aaron Humes: A week of good weather continues as the National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies today and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be isolated with the chance for an isolated afternoon thunderstorm over the mountains.
High temperatures are 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 96 degrees inland, and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight, the mercury readings are 80 degrees along the coast, 72 inland, and 66 in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 5 to 10 knots with seas slight.
Tides will be low at 10:48 this morning and 9:35 this evening and high at 5:23 late this afternoon. The sun goes down at 5:32 this evening and rises Thursday morning at a quarter to six.
In the extended outlook, showers, if any, will be isolated for Thursday along with isolated afternoon thunderstorms inland. Then generally isolated showers and thunderstorms for Thursday night.
