Three nominees named for Youth Minister’s Award

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Three nominees have been named for the Youth Minister’s Award.

They are Ishamael Nicholson, Jenean Sabal, and Michael Fritz.

The nominees are young people who have “excelled nationally, regionally or internationally in the field or services of youth work”, said the Department of Youth Services (DYS) on Facebook.

“This award is granted to an individual that advocates, demonstrates, promotes, organizes, and manages group activities in the interest of empowering young people,” said DYS.

“This person demonstrates commitment and involvement to the advancement of youth development work.”

DYS said that the nominees will be judged based on their involvement in youth development work.
