Fall in active COVID-19 cases continues, no new deaths reported

By Aaron Humes: After a torrid two days with 21 deaths – the worst two-day stretch in the 20 months of the pandemic – none have been reported today.

Another modest fall in active cases was also reported according to data from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

181 new cases have been reported against 209 recoveries. Active cases are now at 2,021 of 28,749. A further 377 samples are under investigation.

The number of hospitalizations and persons in intensive care remain steady at 33 and 13 respectively.
