COVID-19 vaccination continues in Belize District this week

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Central Health Region in the Ministry of Health said its COVID-19 vaccination drive continues this week in the Belize District.

Vaccinations are being administered, at the Central Health Region, the Matron Roberts Polyclinic, the Swift Hall, and the Port Loyola Health Center in Belize City, daily from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm up to Thursday, November 18. Matron Roberts will also have vaccinations on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The Central Health Region is located behind the old Bliss Nursing Center in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital compound (access between Social Security Board and the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital off Princess Margret Drive or next to Social Security on St Joseph St).

In San Pedro, vaccinations are being administered daily up to Thursday at the San Pedro Lions Den from 1:30 pm to 3 pm.

In Caye Caulker, vaccinations will be done daily up to Thursday as well at the Caye Caulker Health Center from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Vaccinations will also be administered on Wednesday at Double Head Cabbage, Scotland Half Moon, and Bermudian Landing from 9 am to 3 pm.

On Friday vaccinations will be done at the Hattieville Health Center from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues encouraging Belizeans 12 years and up to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide.
